Weekly Update
Last week Willow class have been looking at changes to their local environment over time and Birch pupils have been learning about healthy lifestyles. Hazel class are looking at the start of the Bronze Age when Bell Beaker folk brought metal working skills from Europe and Rowan class are enriching their learning on Britain at war with a visit to Nothe Fort in Weymouth today. We are looking forward to celebrating our Harvest service with you this Wednesday in the church from 2pm. A polite reminder for children to bring a donation of dried or tinned goods for the Lord’s Larder. We are also looking for volunteers who would kindly take the donations to the Lord’s larder in Yeovil (Mon to Fri 10am -12pm) please let the school office know if you can help. The FONS are holding their AGM this Friday at 8pm via zoom. We hope to share the link with you later this week. They are looking for support and helpers to continue their fundraising for enrichment items and activities for all pupils at school. For Year R and 1 parents a polite reminder that the phonics information session is next Monday after school.
