Weekly Update
Pupils in Acorn class have been learning about the Jewish day of rest – the Shabbat. This included sipping grape juice, tasting bread (home made by Mrs Oakes) and recalling Old Testament stories such as the Creation and Moses.
Meanwhile, in Oak class pupils have been exploring the story behind different Hindu deities; Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Ganesh son of the mother goddess Parvati.
This Friday is a non-school uniform day. Please bring a donation (suggested £1) to help raise valuable funds for the Parent and Friends Association (PFA).
Also on Friday, we look forward to the annual PFA disco in the village hall. A huge thank you for parents and staff for organising and helping out. I look forward to going into the half-term break bopping to the beats! A reminder that the timings are as follows:
4.30-5.45pm Acorn class
5.45-7.00pm Oak class
